Gensler is one of the world’s largest and most prominent collaborative design firms. Hatteras was entrusted with producing their recent project for Paramount Group Inc., best-in-class owner, operator and manager of Class A office properties. Paramount’s vision was to showcase one of their trophy assets & the building’s available space offering. Gensler formulated an impressive design for the kit, and to ensure the best possible execution, Hatteras explored various techniques and stylistic options, including many foil stamping options and different design configurations.

The final product was comprised of a pocket folder, 36 page + cover book, and 5 loose test sheets. For a luxurious feel, the pocket folder was constructed from 110lb Touché® Black cover stock and foil stamped.

To further extend the tactile quality, the book and loose leaves were digitally printed on the HP Indigo 7600 on Neenah Classic Crest Solar cover and text. To finish the look, instead of conventional staples, the book was saddle-sewn with a black thread to blend with the black back cover.

An involved project like this by Gensler requires knowledge of various techniques, and the ability to test and prototype until the desired vision is achieved. Hatteras was able to provide various samples and valuable suggestions that added to the overall value of the project.
