
Since 1935, Jaguar vehicle owners have been part of a league of proud individuals who like to stand out and drive luxurious vehicles that outperform on the road as well as the track. Wanting to build on this strong sense of community, Spark 44, the creative agency for both Land Rover and Jaguar, set out to create “Faces of Jaguar”, a direct mail series profiling vehicle owners that identify with the Jaguar brand. Similar to the high standards of these owners, they wanted to produce a bold and luxurious piece that would stand out from other ordinary direct mail pieces – and turned to Hatteras for help bringing it to life.

Working together, MagnaCare and Hatteras sought to create an unconventional yet personal direct mail piece that would stand out from the crowd. The final product was a personalized parcel, and inside, a large coffee tin containing a personalized invitation, a travel mug, coffee beans, tea, and hot chocolate. The customized invitation both addressed the recipient by name, and included their specific sales associate’s contact information to arrange a meeting for coffee. This casual approach combined with the personalized deliverables made for an impactful and effective direct mail campaign.
