MagnaCare Invite

NATIONAL LABOR & MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

MagnaCare is a healthcare organization that administers self-insured health plans for Unions and Taft-Hartley Funds throughout New York and New Jersey. Each year, MagnaCare exhibits at the National Labor & Management Conference that is held at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida. MagnaCare planned to host a Wild Wild West themed event to entertain their clients and prospects. With many sponsored events at the conference, it was important that MagnaCare’s invite was memorable and stood out from the crowd. Hatteras worked with MagnaCare to produce a solution that was cost-effective and unique.

The invite was a square well box with a two-panel cover that opened from the middle. The outside of the two cover panels was printed to resemble saloon doors, with a cut out circle in the middle for the ease of opening. The well box held an engraved belt buckle and a stand, along with some festive paper filler. For in-transit protection, a corrugated strip framed the well box. A digitally printed variable data mail panel was placed on top of the saloon doors and shrink-wrapped.

Hatteras has an added advantage of a full-service mailing department. In collaboration with our mailing experts, we created multiple prototypes. By testing the prototypes, we were able to keep the weight under 13 ounces, and avoid higher priority mail rates. The final project was mailed as first class parcel, which offers value, improved handling and transportation time.
