POS DISPLAYS
Congo Brands, a Louisville, Kentucky-based company, is a supplier and distributor of multiple nutritional beverages and supplements including Alani Nu, 3-D Energy, and Prime Hydration. With significant growth since their founding in 2014, brands in their portfolio can be found in some of the largest retailers across the United States including GNC, Target, Walmart, and many others.
The Congo Brands team wanted to create some excitement around the product displays of one of their top sellers – the seasonal Alani Nu “Witch’s Brew” – and turned to Hatteras for assistance. The concept was to produce oversized, eye-catching 3-D displays of their products (featuring a ‘spooky’ hand grasping a can of Witch’s Brew), creating a visual experience that would help them stand out within the stores.

After several rounds of prototypes testing different materials and structural approaches, we moved forward with production. The displays and banners were printed on one of Hatteras’ Vutek Large Format presses, and then sent to the Zund to be digitally cut. We used Falcon Board for the 3-D displays, and created custom feet using Infinity Board with enough sturdiness to hold-up the displays.
The printed materials were then carefully kitted and shipped to 70 warehouses, where Congo Brands then distributed the materials to their customers across the country.
