Killa' Cam's Flee Market - Brand Activation Event

Jimmy Jazz creates pop-up ‘flee market’ for rapper Cam’ron’s new Reebok sneaker launch.

Pop-up shops are taking over the retail world. They provide brands an opportunity to test new merchandise, generate awareness in a new market, and provide one-of-a-kind experiences for shoppers.

Jimmy Jazz, a popular retailer of urban footwear and streetwear, recently held a one-night ‘brand activation’ event at their Harlem store for the exclusive launch of rapper Cam'ron’s new signature sneaker, Reebok Question Mid. Fans were given the opportunity to meet Cam’ron at the in-store signing and media event and purchase the new #Flee4s days before hitting the market.

The marketing team at Jimmy Jazz designed the ultimate pop-up store: “Killa Cam’s Flee Market.” Throughout the space they incorporated the new sneaker’s “Dipset”-inspired purple camo pattern (originating from the rapper’s album “Purple Haze”), along with imagery of Cam’ron himself.

With just a couple days between final design and launch, Jimmy Jazz turned to Hatteras to help bring the experience to life, producing large-scale wall and window graphics, floor graphics, dimensional packaging and labels – all within a 48-hour timeframe. The colorfully-branded space provided a great backdrop for media coverage and selfies.

Here’s some video highlights from the event. Congratulations to the Jimmy Jazz team for a successful event!
